Craft Your Social Media Landing Page

Crafting a landing page should be a priority today!! As as I scroll through my timelines, I see post after post speaking about a popular bio linking “app” was down. Business is rough when we leave something so serious in the hands of an app that we don’t have total control over.

I am not knocking apps, we all depend on the internet daily.  My whole business exists thanks to the internet so there is importance in apps.  One flaw is depending on one app to direct traffic to another app instead of leading all of your traffic to one page where you can share everything in one place.   Those apps are great IF you don’t have a website BUT if you do and you are running a special and have an amazing opt-in, how will you control the traffic?

Remember how short the consumer’s attention span is? Well, keep in mind you are adding in an additional step for your ideal customer to reach your website. Removing that bio linking app and crafting your social media landing page is the way to go.

A great way to go about it is to create a page on your website and call it “IG/Instagram” or “My socials” and place that link your Instagram Profile. As you can see on my business website I laid my page out similar to some of the popular “bio linking apps”  and the traffic lands on my website instead of growing “bio linking apps” traffic I grow my own. So suppose you have a million followers and your top 1% click your link that’s a lot of traffic and the best place for it is your own website!

Remember your website is YOUR website and that traffic driven from your social media accounts should go somewhere, and it’s best to make it worthwhile.   Keep that in mind when sharing it all on your socials.
